The clear night sky

As I was driving and waiting for the train to pass, I watched the sky last night. The sky was full of stars and it was very beautiful. When I reached home, one the way to my apartment I saw a full Moon hanged low silently, smiling and watching. Then, I decided to take my camera, go outside and enjoyed the nature despite cold weather. When I was watching the sky and the moon dancing, my neighbor approached me and asked,"What are you doin outside? Stay warm!" I replied "I was just watching the clear night sky"

I realize people have become disconnected from nature. They have forgotten how beautiful the sky is at night. Most people spend so little time outside now, they dont even know what it looks like. I would not be so surprised by people who had never seen the night sky. They are afraid to go out at night since it's pretty hard to see anything in some area. Have these people every tried to look up there?! try to find out what's goin on up there?

I was unable to see the clear night sky like this in Jakarta. It was like the sky was limitless but not empty. It was full of dancing stars and with the moon accompanied them. I felt the wind on my face, looked at the moon in the sky. There's a world out there!

Why I could not see the sky like this in Jakarta? It's because of pollution... All I know people have destroyed the nature. Sooner or later, human beings would feel the wrath of the mother nature.

Now I know why, the Mayan is obsessed with the sky... in the past there's no electricity, no tv, no cellphone, no light, no heater, no AC, no pollution, etc. When the darkness comes, the sky would be everything for them. They watch the sky above and develop astronomical systems.

The clear sky at night with starts and the moon, it's very beautiful and awe-inspiring. I wrote a few poems as I watched the moon haha
