Those who follow the crowd usually get lost in it!

I feel very bad when somebody life is being controlled by parents, teachers, friends, fashion and so on. They don't even have a chance to follow their own heart and when the time comes, they realize that the key to failure is to please everyone, they're lost in the crowd. They don't know what to do and don't even know how to listen to their own heart since they used to just blindly follow the crowd. I have some tips that might help:

Follow your heart, but be quiet for a while first. Ask questions, then feel the answer. Learn to trust your heart.

Let it go

Some people just hold on to their anger instead of releasing their pain. They rehearse it over and over in their minds. I've seen people express their anger by hurting other or just keeping it inside, and both responses are unhealthy and unhelpful. Resentment always hurts us the most than it does to the person we resent. Maybe the person who made us angry had forgotten what they did to us and moved on with his or her life. Hence, there's no point of keeping our resentment.

Those who have hurt us in the past cannot continue to hurt us anymore unless we hold on to the pain. Your past is past! Nothing would change it. Just let it go....

We played with the snow until about midnight, an incredible moonless and cloudless starry night over our heads.

Occasional snow throughout the day

The first snowman that I made last night(February 12, 2010). It doesn't look bad at all, right?

My younger brother and I made a snowman this morning. We played with the snow till we lost track of time.
My family and I built this snowman, and I will treasure this moment I spent together with my family in my heart which is a treasure chest of happy memories.

Good And Evil

I saw this picture on the way home from school and it makes me think.
1. Yes, there is evil in this world.
2. If there is evil, there must be good
3. If there is good and evil, there must be a moral law on which to judge between good and evil.
4. If there is a moral law, there must be a moral law giver.

The clear night sky

As I was driving and waiting for the train to pass, I watched the sky last night. The sky was full of stars and it was very beautiful. When I reached home, one the way to my apartment I saw a full Moon hanged low silently, smiling and watching. Then, I decided to take my camera, go outside and enjoyed the nature despite cold weather. When I was watching the sky and the moon dancing, my neighbor approached me and asked,"What are you doin outside? Stay warm!" I replied "I was just watching the clear night sky"

I realize people have become disconnected from nature. They have forgotten how beautiful the sky is at night. Most people spend so little time outside now, they dont even know what it looks like. I would not be so surprised by people who had never seen the night sky. They are afraid to go out at night since it's pretty hard to see anything in some area. Have these people every tried to look up there?! try to find out what's goin on up there?

I was unable to see the clear night sky like this in Jakarta. It was like the sky was limitless but not empty. It was full of dancing stars and with the moon accompanied them. I felt the wind on my face, looked at the moon in the sky. There's a world out there!

Why I could not see the sky like this in Jakarta? It's because of pollution... All I know people have destroyed the nature. Sooner or later, human beings would feel the wrath of the mother nature.

Now I know why, the Mayan is obsessed with the sky... in the past there's no electricity, no tv, no cellphone, no light, no heater, no AC, no pollution, etc. When the darkness comes, the sky would be everything for them. They watch the sky above and develop astronomical systems.

The clear sky at night with starts and the moon, it's very beautiful and awe-inspiring. I wrote a few poems as I watched the moon haha
