I do not know why I'm thinking of this now haha. Since none of my best friends are online so I just write it here. It's a funny thing actually but I just realize it now. When I was still wearing a uniform in school, I always tucked my shirt in and had a short hair. When I was still living in Jakarta, I cleaned up my garden, washed my dad's car every single day without fail. My neighbour used to ask me "why u clean ur garden everyday?" and my friends in school used to ask me " why don't u pull down ur pants and tuck ur shirt out?" For my best friends, I'm sure u guys know how clean and neat my house really is.
Honestly, our home affects the way we feel. I give my room my personality while my family give my house their personality. Neatness costs NOTHING! Better to live in one-room apartment that is clean, than in a mansion that's a mess. People sometimes do judging others by the way they dress. Some people believe the way u dress reflect ur personality and I agree with it to a large extent.
I learn a lot from my parents to pamper urself, nourish ur body, keep a clean house and u would feel blessed by life. Everything affects everything else. The way u dress affects the way u feel. The way u walk affects the way u talk. The care u give to urself, u will give it to others.

I can be quick-tempered and obstinate, and sometimes too outspoken, but there is usually good advice in my criticisms or suggestions. I believe my vibrant, positive attitude is irreplaceable to have around and one can always count on me to support my friends unequivocally in times of need =P

My Reflection of 2009
2010 is coming so I guess I've to write my reflection, just like what my best friend did a few days ago. I think 2009 is the year that I would not forget in my life since in the beginning of the year I moved to USA. My family and I start a new life in Texas. I think whatever I did in the past like I made a reckless decision about studying in Singapore and tried to learned English over there really affect the present and the future. When I moved to Singapore, I didn't tell my friends, even my best friend because I knew my friends would tell me not to go, plus I scared to say good bye to them haha silly me. I started all over again in Singapore, learning everything I already knew in english. Even until now some part of me still regret my decision to study in Singapore. It's like I was wasting my time. Additionally, I lost contact with mostly all my high school friends because internet in Jakarta was not really good that time. However, I did adapt incredibly fast in USA. For example, I passed all my placement test for college. Even for American people to pass placement test is hard and I just did it so easily. Moreover, I think because of my good grade so far till fall 2009, I got grant so I don't need to pay the school fee for spring semester. I'm glad that finally I could help my parents. My sacrifices like my time, hard work, etc have paid off. My dad always says that the universe seek balance and according to my experience it's true. People lost something and people gain something!

Merry Christmas. May God be with us and in our heart always & ever!!
It's Christmas again but this year in 2009, I'm celebrating Christmas in the different place again. Currently, I'm living in Irving, Texas. My family and I moved to USA since 5th of May. I hope I could stay longer in one place haha because I really do miss my friends in Singapore and Indonesia. I wanna celebrate Christmas with them but now I could only pray for them. It seems that everyone in Irving is celebrating Christmas and they're full of joy. Children are singing and people are smiling to one another. Everywhere I go, I could hear Christmas songs being played. On Dec 24, snow started falling down from the sky in the morning. Make the white Christmas that everyone talks about real haha. This's some kind of miracle because I heard from the local people, it normally snows once a year but this year is different. May be God wanna say something to us, His people. I really hope people in Jakarta could celebrate Christmas in peace too since I read in the news one of the church, St Albert in Bekasi was burned down by "pribumi." I feel really bad and angry about it but I could not do anything beside praying. Sometimes I really hate myself for not being able to make a difference or at least help somebody in need. Anyway, early December I felt quite happy since I could help sisters (female member of a religious community) wrapping Christmas gifts and foods for the poor. I believe peace on earth will come to stay when we live Christmas every day!

What is a miracle?
What is a miracle? It is when the impossible happens.
It’s when doctors have given up on a sick child and for no scientific reason, that child gets well.
It’s when you’re down to your last dollar, have piles of bills to be paid, and a check arrives in the mail from some unknown source.
It’s when a hurricane comes through a town and your house is left standing with desolation all around it.
It’s when a child is born and you can’t believe how exquisitely miniature this new life appears.
It’s when you’ve prayed for a specific purpose and that prayer is answered.
It’s when there is no earthly reason something wonderful has happened.
Miracles take place everyday. Sometimes they’re very subtle and quiet, sweeping in like a touch on the face. Other times, it’s very evident and public. It doesn’t matter who you are, miracles can happen to anyone.
Why do miracles take place? It may be that God wants your attention!
When you believe in God, you gain an awareness of Him. You see everything in a new light. He shows His great power through the trials and tribulations of life, through nature and science.
God is in the impossible business. What is a miracle? Someone once said, “Coincidence is when God wants to remain anonymous.” Well, miracles are when God reveals Himself.
All glory and honor and praise belong to Him. Without Him there would be no miracles!

On the road
On the road

Past this place in the road
There isn't much traffic on the road
But I see many people walking
Someone is standing there
As I approach, I notice she is beautiful
Excuse me young lady, you are carying great load
Where are you going? Maybe I can help you?
If you need a ride, I'd be happy to oblige
Get in to my car, I'll take you for a ride
Down country roads, up city streets
I can get you where you need to go
Because I'm a country boy
You sure look good, sitting in left seat
Fasten your seat belt young lady
Because I'll take you through the five speeds
She smiles up and she knows she'll be all right
The pop songs on the radio is really good
I crank up the volume as the tone got real good
Let me know when we're getting close
So you can slide out from my car
I stop my car as I see her house
She slides out and smile up to the sky
She thanks me for this one day
I wish I could take her for a ride again someday
